Make This: Pre-workout (Or Lazy Sunday) Banana Pancakes

There is nothing better than waking up late on a Sunday morning, rolling out of bed, and whipping up some banana pancakes.  I mean after all, Sunday is the undisputed “cheat day,” right?  Unfortunately for us, we were born with an insatiable sweet tooth, which is why we love this recipe—satisfy your sugar craving, while also eating clean and fueling up right for your workout and the rest of the day.  Super easy to make (crucial for lazy Sundays), these pancakes will keep your tummy as flat as…well, a pancake. Pre-Workout Banana Pancakes (Makes 1 medium pancake)
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 3 tbsp. egg whites
  • ½ banana
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Blueberries as garnish (optional)
Directions:
  • Place all ingredients in a bowl
  • Mash up banana and mix ingredients until you reach a thick consistency
  • Spoon mixture onto heated, non-stick pan, cooking on first side until slightly browned
  • Flip, repeat, and enjoy!
