This homemade healthy pumpkin smoothie contains pumpkin, almond butter, ice, almond milk, maple syrup and spices. That’s it! It’s a delicious alternative to a higher calorie drink and you are still getting the health benefits from the pumpkin, which is a win-win. Healthy pumpkin smoothie Makes one smoothie Ingredients 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (be sure to use just canned pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling) 1 cup almond milk 1/4 cup crushed ice 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 tablespoon smooth almond butter (I’m sure peanut butter would be just as delicious) Directions
